The general theme of this book is the timeless and universal message of Islam; it was the religion that Prophet Adam preached, it is also the religion preached by all the Prophets and Saints that came after him. Articulately disputing the myth that Islam is a new religion, which came to be during prophet Muhammad’s lifetime and using the holy Quran and the Vedas as reference material to provide similitude in concepts and
principles of the both religions. A sincere attempt has been made to avoid polemics or religious bias in the book. The ultimate aim of the authors is to promote greater brotherhood or kinship among all religions. The common beliefs and values are identified to express the universal Truth and religious harmony. There may be elements of diversity in “non-essential” matters. As far as “essentials” of a religion are concerned we find enormous unity in respect of the concept of “One God and submissions to His will”.
