This shorter version of ‘Abdullah Yusuf ‘Ali’s works includes his translation of the Qur’an text side by side with the Arabic text in a compact volume. The exclusion of the commentaries found in the original edition is deliberate so as to make the volume handy for the reader especially when on a journey. This volume is also suitable for students of Islamic studies.
