How do I know the payment is secure?

Our Online Order System uses the latest available security measures and technologies to ensure your information is safe, giving you confidence in ordering and paying online with IBC.

At IBC, we are committed to protecting your order details and personal information. To make sure your information is safely guarded, our Online Order System is backed by GeoTrust, a global leader in Secure Online Commerce Transactions. This system uses the latest Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128-bit software and certificates.

Your credit card number is entered and transmitted via a fully encrypted web page, secured by a 128-bit SSL Certificate.

Also, you will notice that the internet address at the top of the browser usually begins with http://, but a secure page begins with https://.

In addition, to the bottom right corner of your internet browser, you will see a lock (as pictured below) showing the order page is secure.

If you still do not wish to send your credit card details via the internet you may fax them to (61) 3 9478 8854. It is best to print out your order and then hand write your credit card details onto the order including :

  • the name as displayed on the credit card
  • the credit card numbers
  • the credit card four digit expiry date

What is SSL?

SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is an encrypted link between the web server and your browser. Once the link is established all communication between the web server and your customer's browser will remain confidential. .

What is the strongest SSL standard publicly available?

The strongest publicly available standard is 128 bit SSL. We use only 128 bit SSL server technology. This is the same encryption technology that is used by banking insitutions. Stronger encryption standards do exist, such as 256 bit encryption, but are only available to the military and government security agencies, and are not available to the public at this time.
